Black Porcelaineous Stoneware with inlaid colored slip and gold glaze, fired to Cone 6 2232 degrees.

The interior of the mugs are glazed either satin gold or glossy black (see photos) and the interior of the handle has a saturated gold glaze. The exterior is unglazed and after the firing they are wet sanded with five different diamond grits from 120 all the way up to 1800 grit, with the intention to feel like a river rock. This mug is meant to activate your senses, I hope you love it as much as I do. Hand washing is recommended and it is not microwave safe. But rest assured this mug is extremely durable and made to be used for a lifetime :)
